About the Role
The Field Engineer serves as the liaison between the infrastructure site and the office, providing support to the Project Engineer and site team. This role focuses on production tracking, operational planning, communication, organization, implementation, and tracking of project data, with a significant portion of time spent in the field to foster learning and growth in construction management.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assist in maintaining contract assets, incorporating data from the planning department and project participants into the overall plan or schedule.
- Interact with project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints.
- Present and analyze schedule reports to meet Webber Infrastructure Management standards.
- Develop periodic reporting formats.
- Assist in managing a Scope Change Management system.
- Communicate with vendors and track orders.
- Oversee sub-contractor work.
- Ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience working with scheduling and/or planning software.
- Must be able to work within, and utilize data obtained from, the electronic planning software being utilized, such as SAP, Primavera, Microsoft Projects, or other similar software.
- Fluent with the ESRI suite of software, specifically Arc GIS pro, Survey 123 and Workforce preferred.
