About the Role
The Administrative Specialist will provide essential administrative support to firm leadership, professional staff, and clients, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a growing public accounting firm. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to firm leadership and professional staff
- Format financial statements and supporting documentation for client delivery and review
- Process tax returns and assist with related administrative workflows
- Manage requests through the firm's administrative ticketing system
- Assist with document management, organization, and internal communications
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives across the firm
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling client and financial information
- Welcome clients, answer incoming calls, and assist with client inquiries
- Coordinate and distribute client documents and correspondence
- Collaborate with administrative team members to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements
- Two or more years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
