About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a foundational role in crafting exceptional user experiences for government staff and the public. This role offers the opportunity to impact all aspects of design, from product development and prototyping to brand evolution. You will collaborate closely with engineers, the implementation team, and the business development team to define the product roadmap and create marketing assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead design work end-to-end
- Drive research and discovery sessions with customers
- Write clear, well-scoped product requirement documents
- Design and iterate upon high-fidelity flows and prototypes
- Collaborate with the engineering team to bring designs to life
- Contribute to the internal design system, Trailmix
- Partner with the implementation team on customer deployments, providing project management, product strategy, and customer communications
- Work with the business development team to define the future of the product through prototyping for RFP responses and demos
- Create marketing assets for social media, conferences, and other branded materials with the leadership team
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in product design, preferably in a high-growth startup or agency environment
- Experience designing administrative tooling
- Experience designing scalable solutions for SaaS products for desktop and mobile
- Experience in client services and excitement to work directly with customers
- Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
- Familiarity with AI tooling workflows (ChatGPT, Figma Make, Lovable, etc.)
