About the Role
Genius AI is building an agentic workforce of AI systems that act on behalf of appointment-based business owners. Engineers will architect these systems, either as product engineers focusing on AI capabilities and customer problems, or platform engineers building scalable infrastructure. The expectation is to use AI as the default layer in all work.
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship AI-powered features that change how service businesses operate.
- Build and maintain large-scale systems that process billions in payments and serve 120,000+ businesses.
- Use AI to architect, debug, write, and review code.
- Own work end to end: from technical design through production.
- Build platform infrastructure that lets product teams move faster.
- Challenge how we build and drive improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of production systems.
- Experience shipping AI-powered features or systems.
- Ability to move fast and make decisions.
- Strong analytical instincts for efficiency, scalability, and system reliability.
- Entrepreneurial ownership mindset.
- Collaborative approach, making engineers around you better.
