About the Role

As a field sales representative, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for customer support in your assigned territory for the Rare Hematology Unit portfolio. You will act as an ambassador for scientifically sophisticated medicines, shaping access to innovative therapies and the care landscape for patients with rare diseases, leaving a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

  • Customer support
  • Intensive contact management and adequate support in outpatient and inpatient settings according to the defined target group
  • Building and maintaining trustworthy customer relationships
  • Successful product marketing and strengthening of market position
  • Creation and implementation of territory-specific business plans based on national marketing strategy, considering various channels
  • Comprehensive information and consultation based on defined discussion points and customer needs
  • Provision of information and service materials to the target group
  • Territory management
  • Strategic territory and contact management with effective visit and tour planning
  • Professional interface management with relevant departments to coordinate measures
  • Regular analysis of your own area of responsibility, as well as documentation and forwarding of market and competitor observations
  • Timely completion of reporting
  • Planning and utilization of the event budget for local and digital training
  • Representation of Sanofi at regional and supra-regional events/conferences
  • Use of current systems and tools for communication and documentation
  • Compliance with legal obligations and internal guidelines (SOPs) and immediate remediation of identified deficiencies
  • Continuous training and updating of scientific and commercial expertise

Requirements

  • Recognition according to AMG § 75 (Certified Pharmaceutical Representative) or a scientific background is mandatory
  • Several years of demonstrably successful experience in field sales (clinic & practice)
  • Good knowledge of the specifics of the German healthcare system
  • Experience in using digital tools, devices, and communication channels, e.g., CRM system, Zoom
  • Recognition of the opportunities of digitalization and utilization of omni-channel possibilities according to customer needs
  • Enthusiasm for using digital sales materials (e-detailing)
  • Native-level German language skills
  • Good English language skills
