About the Role
In this role, you will advance battery storage systems and serve as the primary contact for battery-related standards, guidelines, and application rules. You will ensure battery systems comply with applicable standards globally and actively participate in relevant technical and standards committees.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the certification of PV battery storage systems, their components, and accessories.
- Coordinate and align certification processes with respective certification bodies.
- Serve as the central point of contact for standards and application rules in the field of PV battery storage systems.
- Identify and evaluate national and international requirements from standards and regulations for the development of PV battery storage systems.
- Define and coordinate test plans for system certification.
- Select, manage, and coordinate suitable testing laboratories.
- Prepare and create the CE declaration.
- Actively participate in relevant standards and technical committees.
Requirements
- Completed engineering degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering) or comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in power electronics, battery technology, or technical development.
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards and certification requirements, ideally in the context of battery systems or energy technology.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Very good communication skills and confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external contacts.
