About the Role
Blue Nile is hiring a Production Associate to support the jewelry production team in cleaning, engraving, and transporting finished jewelry pieces. The seasonal associate will be expected to work with a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
- Support the factory by cleaning finished jewelry pieces according to factory instructions and specifications.
- Transport finished jewelry pieces to and from departments including QA, polishing, stone setting and repairs.
- Help with collecting and distributing work throughout the factory and conveying information across teams as needed.
- Engrave finished jewelry using the laser engraver for necessary engraving.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and careful handling of finished items.
- Comfort using computers and technology.
- Works with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent at following directions.
- Comfortable standing and walking across the factory floor.
- This position is expected to work according to the factory’s seasonal schedule which includes several weekends in November and December.
