About the Role
RSM is seeking a Strategic Business Alliances Business Development Director to drive sales and revenue growth through the assigned strategic business alliance of ServiceNow. This role requires consultative, co-selling skills and a deep understanding of the assigned SBA to achieve revenue growth targets, find new business, and transition opportunities to the aligned sales team. The Director will collaborate with internal leaders on go-to-market strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Sources and qualifies new opportunities through assigned SBA
- Creates a sales plan for assigned SBA to drive growth of related practice areas
- Positions RSM as the strategic alliance of choice to assigned SBA
- Serves as a firmwide champion for assigned SBA and a catalyst across sales teams
- Networks with assigned SBA to create new relationships and strengthen existing ones
- Develops and nurtures relationships with assigned SBA to drive client impact and facilitate matchmaking
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to establish quality SBA connections and orchestrate processes
- Manages co-selling activities for assigned SBA to drive joint pipeline
- Conducts frequent pipeline reviews with joint sellers
- Leads monthly sales reviews to ensure scale, growth, and execution
- Leverages available incentives and programs for deal acceleration
- Provides support in driving top key deals and deal coaching
- Works closely with aligned leaders, marketing, and practice leads to develop go-to-market plans
- Collaborates with sales enablement and training to create training materials
- Leverages the voice of the SBA to identify and alleviate key success blockers
- Maintains and stays up-to-date on sales compliance processes
Requirements
- 8+ years selling professional services or technology products or services
- Experience working with alliances either indirectly or directly
- Active network of contacts within the alliance's ecosystem
- Experience working in the middle market
- Demonstrated ability to work with practice leaders and other internal stakeholders to build strong coalitions and ongoing collaboration
- Experience navigating legal, regulatory, independence and risk management policies and procedures

- $147,000 - $260,700
- Sales commissions and a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance may be eligible
