About the Role
The Agribusiness Business Development Specialist (BDS) will provide agency management and drive progressive growth of revenue and profitability in the South Central US territory (Texas, Arkansas, Missouri). This role serves as the central point of contact for agency partners, promoting property and casualty products and acquiring profitable accounts through sound underwriting principles.
Responsibilities
- Act as a marketing representative for assigned agencies, making decisions on risk selection and pricing based on authority level.
- Manage and maintain all agency relationships and business goals in the assigned territory.
- Make recommendations for agent appointments and terminations.
- Assist with marketing, training, and deploying FCCI products and services.
- Partner with underwriters to build agency relationships and establish agency goals.
- Promote sales of various property and casualty products through the independent agency system.
- Acquire and retain profitable accounts through sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy.
- Manage new account selection, new account pricing, and direct policyholder service.
- Work with agents to set strategic goals through annual planning sessions.

- $83,080-$127,945 annually
