About the Role
Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrogeologic/geologic investigations.
- Supervise pumping tests.
- Perform water-quality sampling.
- Conduct streamflow gaging.
- Generate GIS maps/graphics.
- Perform soil sampling and logging during well installation.
- Write permits and reports.
Requirements
- BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting.
- Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings.
- Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for field work.
- Valid driver's license required.
