About the Role

We are seeking Bilingual Lab and Referral Operations Coordinators (French/English) to join our Care Delivery Operations team. This role focuses on administrative workflows, ensuring the smooth operation of lab and referral processes through precise documentation review, processing, and routing, while upholding privacy and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day administrative workflows for lab and referral processes.
  • Review, process, and route documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to privacy and quality standards.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming lab and referral documentation, including faxes, voicemails, and digital records.
  • Upload, route, and track lab results and referral information for timely clinician review.
  • Respond to urgent lab communications and escalate critical results promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with missing, incomplete, or unclear documentation.
  • Coordinate with labs, clinics, and internal teams to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data consistency between patient information and lab/referral data.
  • Support public health reporting and compliance-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support and Care Delivery teams to address lab- and referral-related inquiries.
  • Consistently meet accuracy, quality, and turnaround time expectations.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in an administrative or operations role.
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and process adherence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Natural ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Sharp problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfort learning and navigating multiple systems and tools.
  • Background as a Medical Office Assistant or Medical Receptionist is an asset.
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinic environment is an asset.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, PDF management tools, and Slack is an asset.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check (EPIC) and identity verification.
  • Additional checks may be conducted depending on role requirements.
