About the Role
As the Manager for Growth Strategy & Operations, you will build and run the experimentation engine behind Airwallex's global growth, designing and managing the end-to-end execution of growth experiments and campaigns. You will act as the operational backbone of the growth function, ensuring experiments run efficiently, dependencies are managed, and insights are captured. This role requires strong project management, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance speed with rigor.
Responsibilities

- Maintain the global campaign registry and forward calendar.
- Partner with campaign/experiment owners to define hypotheses, primary metrics, and target effect sizes.
- Set the measurement approach, including control/holdout, audience size, and statistical power.
- Pressure-test feasibility across audience, budget, and technical requirements.
- Build, QA, and launch live campaigns across the Martech stack.
- Produce copy and creative variants, draft terms with Legal, and manage approvals.
- QA the full customer journey before go-live, apply consent/suppression/frequency-capping rules, and manage rollback protocols.
- Own the tracking taxonomy for comparable results across campaigns and regions.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards, monitor performance, and run ad-hoc analysis.
- Share results and learnings in cross-functional forums.
- Identify gaps in tooling and process, and codify repeatable work into scalable tooling.
- Utilize AI to improve efficiency with human review for customer-facing elements.
- Partner with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting.
- Set expected impact and cost targets before launch, manage the central budget, and track utilization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in growth, operations, product management, or strategy roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort working with data and metrics.
- Experience designing or coordinating experiments; familiarity with A/B testing methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize and present insights clearly.
- Ability to execute in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience running experimentation programs with statistical rigor.
- Hands-on experience across lifecycle and Martech tooling and a CDP.
- Comfortable in SQL and/or analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, Hex, Looker etc.).
- Ability to say no to good ideas to protect the few that matter, and defend the call with evidence.
- Ability to move easily between Commercial, Product, Marketing, Data and Legal.
- A bias to build, reaching for automation and AI to make repeatable work scale.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or high-growth tech companies.
