About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Developer with excellent Java proficiency to join the Equities Technology / Cash & Electronic team. This role involves enhancing our front office electronic trading platform, focusing on scalability, extensibility, and performance within a highly automated and containerized environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively and practice data-driven code optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy enhancements to the electronic trading platform.
- Support and optimize existing platform components.
- Collaborate with software engineers in different time zones.
- Automate toil and repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with low-latency or real-time systems.
- Excellent Java proficiency, including concurrency, tuning, and memory management.
- Good command of the Linux/UNIX command line interface.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
