About the Role
Broadway National is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to provide solutions for commercial plumbing and drain issues, including installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and water heaters. The role involves troubleshooting problems, reviewing blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Provide solutions to all commercial plumbing and drain issues
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes including joints, valves, drains and pumps
- Install new plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, urinals, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, etc.
- Respond and troubleshoot problems and provide cost estimates
- Review blueprints and building codes to determine appropriate work procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance as required
- Support customer service team with vendor and/or customer escalations
- Collaborate with service team and supply houses for materials and pricing
- Educate and train the sales and service team to better their plumbing knowledge
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience in commercial service plumbing
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to think outside of the box for long-term solutions
- Knowledge of regulations within the plumbing industry
- Ability to properly use hand and power plumbing tools
- Demonstrated customer service skills; excellent phone etiquette a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Pro-active, organized & detail oriented
- Valid and clean Driver’s License is a must
- Weekend on-call rotation may be required
