About the Role

Drives non-CDL vehicle to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distance points according to time schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Follows regularly assigned routes and schedules, immediately reporting any changes to the Director.
  • Exercises extreme care and judgment in driving habits.
  • Maintains record keeping of passenger census and attendance, log of pick up and drop off times, and incidents occurring on vehicle.
  • Notifies Transportation Office of scheduled passenger's absences and vehicle's condition.
  • Assists passengers in entry/exit from agency vehicles or in transferring from one vehicle to another.

Requirements

  • NYS Driver’s License with 12 months driving experience.
  • Licensed appropriately for the vehicle to be used.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Responsible attitude.
