About the Role
Method is the operating system for small businesses, purpose-built for QuickBooks and Xero users who have outgrown spreadsheets. Our no-code customization engine allows customers to design workflows, and we are now integrating AI to accelerate this process. The Growth team focuses on converting signups into subscribers by optimizing the top-of-funnel journey, including signup, onboarding, activation, and billing, through continuous experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Ship experiment variations end-to-end across React / TypeScript and .NET Core.
- Work across the full user journey, from bringing new users in to ensuring they find value and remain subscribed.
- Contribute to improving the early customer experience to help users find value quickly.
- Support a data-driven team by instrumenting and monitoring built features.
- Operate in an AI-native planning → execution → verification loop, using AI for requirements understanding, code generation/refactoring, and validation.
- Write automated tests alongside implementations and collaborate with QA to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the team on planning, delivery, and cross-functional touchpoints.
- Escalate issues early regarding experiment scope expansion, architectural impact, customer data integrity risks, or unverified AI-generated output.
Requirements
- 3+ years building and shipping production web applications across front-end and back-end.
- Strong backend fundamentals in C# / .NET Core, or equivalent in Java, Node, or a comparable stack.
- Strong frontend fundamentals in React / TypeScript, or equivalent in Angular or Vue.
- Experience with relational and / or NoSQL persistence and ORM.
- Solid grasp of API design, real-world debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing as a first-class part of delivery.
- Comfortable with experiment-driven development: shipping lean MVPs, reading results, and iterating.
- Comfortable with tasks requiring clear direction and close coaching; communicates trade-offs and uncertainty clearly.
- AI-first in daily workflow (Codex, Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) with engineering judgment to understand and own shipped work.
- Sprint / Kanban or ScrumBan experience in an Agile environment.
