About the Role

In this role, you will lead 1-2 engagements at a time, managing the work plan, team, timeline, quality, and day-to-day work. You will work closely with a senior executive sponsor and practice leader who provide support and ensure the quality of the work. This position offers significant direct client interaction due to small team sizes, allowing for close collaboration in sessions, war games, reviews, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workplan, staffing, timeline, quality, and recommendations for engagements.
  • Assign work, review results, coach team members in real time, and provide formal feedback.
  • Develop and defend the storyline and evidence for client deliverables.
  • Manage client expectations, understand internal dynamics, and address surprises.
  • Lead workshops, war games, and strategy sessions with senior leaders.
  • Design engagement approaches for non-standard problems.
  • Scope extensions and new phases, write statements of work, and ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with research, data science, and Analyst Desk teams to gather necessary information and share insights.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in management consulting, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or investment banking.
  • At least two years of experience running project teams and owning delivery.
  • Experience leading full engagements, understanding the impact of scope errors.
  • Ability to lead executives with differing opinions to a decision.
  • Experience managing people, including staffing, coaching, reviewing, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Proficiency in building models and understanding when they are not the primary focus.
  • Experience using AI tools in regular work and building team workflows.
  • Ability to identify new engagement opportunities while managing current ones.
  • Genuine interest in identity, fraud, financial crime, cybersecurity, and financial services markets.
