About the Role
We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator for the under-3s age group at our evangelical daycare center "Mauerhüpfer" in Berlin-Mitte. This is a permanent position with 30-35 weekly hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide sensitive, patient, and individual support to children with and without special needs.
- Offer professional guidance, regular participation in team meetings, and supervision.
- Foster a joy of learning through play to support children's development into independent and collaborative individuals.
- Creatively and democratically implement educational content in learning areas.
- Provide educational support for a group of children in a tandem setting.
- Engage in self-determined and equal work within a lively and open-minded team.
Requirements
- Passion for pedagogical work according to the Berlin Education Program in the under-3s age group.
- Focus on children's and families' strengths, competencies, and resources as the basis for pedagogical work.
- Ability to listen to children and colleagues, ask open questions, and self-reflect.
- Liveliness, curiosity, and joy in pedagogical work and teamwork.
- Provide an extended police clearance certificate and proof of measles protection.

Salary/Compensations
