About the Role
This field-based role involves building and maintaining relationships with Health Care Practitioners, primarily Naturopathic Doctors, to represent Nestlé Health Science's Professional lines of Specialty Vitamin, Mineral, and Herbal Supplements. The position focuses on the Genestra and Pure Encapsulations brands, identifying new sales opportunities within the GTA East territory. Responsibilities include daily face-to-face sales calls, supplemented by phone and virtual meetings, with occasional overnight travel and weekend work required.
Responsibilities
- Develop territory level business and customer plans, including analysis of data and identification of opportunities and risks to achieve sustainable and profitable sales goals.
- Execute defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead measures to drive sustainable, profitable territory sales.
- Leverage in-depth product and need-state knowledge to effectively position products to healthcare practitioners.
- Maintain and leverage the CRM tool daily, logging customer actions and activities.
- Focus on growing existing Strategic and Key Accounts while scouting new business through drop-ins and cold calls.
- Drive new client acquisition to expand the territory.
- Execute territory level business and customer plans while achieving sales targets.
- Participate in meetings, events, and conferences with appropriate follow-up.
- Adapt effectively to changes in the internal and external business environment.
- Develop long-term partnerships with healthcare practitioners through consistent engagement, education, and support.
- Proactively identify and develop new practitioner relationships.
- Expand opportunities within existing accounts.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Nutrition, Life Science, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Open to frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Skills
- 2+ years of successful sales or related business experience.
- Experience within the Supplement, Health Care, Health Food, Sport Science, Wellness, or Natural Health industry.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions for customers.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
- Background as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND), holistic nutritionist, or other wellness-focused professional is considered an asset.
