About the Role
This is a 0-to-1 growth role on the DoorDash Capital team, where you will own the growth of a new product with a key financing partner. You will scale an early product to maturity by driving adoption, conversion, and revenue, with support from product, engineering, sales, and marketing. The ideal candidate is energized by finding growth levers, moving fast, running experiments, and learning from data in a high-velocity environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategize: Understand Merchant needs, prioritize them by impact, and create solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Build: Drive the implementation of new product features and processes for managing Merchant financial products.
- Construct: Navigate ambiguity and bring structure to undefined opportunities by creating playbooks and templates.
- Analyze: Leverage data to inform hypotheses and convince cross-functional partners.
- Influence: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development teams to align on a path forward and bring products to market.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in strategy & operations, product management, investment banking, management consulting, mergers & acquisitions, or related experience (preferably in the financing or fin tech industry).
- Track record of driving measurable growth (adoption, revenue, or retention) for a product or business.
- Energized by diving into difficult problems with first principles and working cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Logic & data-driven problem solver that can leverage Excel/Google Sheets to derive answers.
- Experience working with data analytics and predictive modeling.
- Desire to affect change every day and operate in energizing environments.
