About the Role
Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an Account Manager for its Wisconsin region. This role is responsible for promoting and selling NRS products and services, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction to support company growth and revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Present and sell NRS products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project contact numbers.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare status reports on activity, closings, follow-up, and goal adherence.
- Communicate new product/service opportunities and feedback to appropriate staff.
- Coordinate staff to accomplish work required to close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing.
- Follow up for collection of payment.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or a related field.
- Ability to work independently, organize, and manage multiple priorities with little supervision.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
- Experience developing and managing referral relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and VA Facilities.
- Knowledge of respiratory products and services including oxygen therapy, PAP/CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, ventilators, and related DME equipment.
- Strong territory management, prospecting, and account development skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
