About the Role
Product Managers at Perplexity focus on product systems and experiences that help users discover, adopt, and gain lasting value from Perplexity. Responsibilities
- Own the SMB design partner program end to end, managing the program where operators run their business on Computer to test agents against real workflows and prove Computer moves revenue metrics for SMBs.
- Recruit and onboard design partners by defining the partner profile, setting up connectors and project context, and designing engagement metrics.
- Build and iterate on Computer's first-party skill packs to meet operator standards.
- Translate partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap for skill, connector, and capability improvements, writing specs and driving them with relevant teams.
- Drive case studies end to end with partnerships, product, and growth marketing, measuring results and packaging them for various channels.
- Drive usage expansion for existing SMB operators by promoting relevant capabilities through onboarding, lifecycle, and in-product recommendations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of total work experience with a strong academic record.
- 2 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a comparable high-intensity analytical role, followed by operating experience.
- Experience running or closely supporting real marketing workflows (paid social, lifecycle, CRO, or SEO) and understanding operator expectations of quality.
- Proficiency in using agents for real work, including writing prompts, skills, and building automation systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in managing relationships with founders or heads of marketing.
- SQL proficiency for cohort analysis, segment validation, and dashboard interpretation.
- Ability to operate at high velocity, ship daily, iterate weekly, and thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
