About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Associate to lead the day-to-day financial reporting and closing processes for our New Verticals business. This role owns recurring reporting cycles, partners closely with various teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness, and offers opportunities for process improvements and automation. You will report into a Manager on our New Verticals Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly close and weekly reporting process for New Verticals, ensuring financial data is accurate and on time.
- Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools for the Finance team.
- Partner with Accounting, Data Engineering, and cross-functional business teams to resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Modernize recurring reporting processes, including opportunities to use AI-powered tools.
- Play a foundational role on a growing team with opportunities for increased scope.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial reporting, investment banking, or a similar analytical finance role.
- Day-to-day ownership of a recurring reporting or close process.
- Track record of independently identifying and resolving data or reporting discrepancies.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive a process or project to a deadline.
- Experience writing SQL queries or using AI tools to validate financial or operational data, or equivalent experience with a comparable query language.
