About the Role

Capco is seeking a Managing Principal (Director level) to lead our Trade & Transaction Reporting capability within the Finance, Risk, Regulatory & Financial Crime (FRRF) practice. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic vision with deep regulatory reporting expertise and a proven track record of leading complex, multi-jurisdictional transformation programmes. You'll partner with global financial institutions to deliver regulatory change, optimise reporting controls, and ensure sustained compliance across key reporting regimes including EMIR Refit, MiFIR, SFTR, CFTC, HKMA, and MAS. You'll also champion AI-enabled ways of working, helping clients and teams responsibly leverage approved AI tools, automation, and data-driven insights to improve reporting quality, operational efficiency, and decision-making while maintaining strong governance and human oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end trade and transaction reporting transformation programmes across multiple global regulatory regimes, identifying opportunities to leverage AI-enabled workflows and automation to improve reporting quality and operational efficiency.
  • Advise clients on regulatory implementation, remediation, and control optimisation across EMIR Refit, MiFIR, SFTR, HKMA, MAS, CFTC, and other reporting frameworks, ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Design, assess, and enhance reporting architectures, data lineage, reconciliations, and data quality frameworks, using AI-enabled analytics where appropriate to strengthen reporting accuracy and transparency.
  • Guide the implementation of regulatory reporting platforms and RegTech solutions, ensuring responsible AI adoption, appropriate validation, and effective oversight of AI-assisted outputs.
  • Lead strategic client relationships, proposition development, business growth, and thought leadership within Capco's Regulatory Reporting capability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading trade and transaction reporting transformation programmes across multiple global regulatory regimes.
  • Deep knowledge of transaction reporting regulations, reporting controls, reconciliations, data governance, and regulatory operating models.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets products including OTC derivatives, listed derivatives, equities, fixed income, and FX.
  • Experience using reporting technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting effectiveness, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, develop strategic client relationships, lead consulting teams, and deliver large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Experience with industry platforms such as DTCC, UnaVista, Regnology, SteelEye, or similar regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Expertise in data lineage, reporting traceability, schema design, and enterprise data management.
  • Experience delivering RegTech, AI-enabled reporting, or real-time regulatory reporting transformation initiatives.
  • Contributions to regulatory consultations, industry working groups, or transaction reporting policy development.
  • Demonstrated success developing consulting propositions, mentoring high-performing teams, and driving sales and business development.
