About the Role
This internship offers the opportunity to engage with entrepreneurs, identify promising technologies and companies, and play a key role in due diligence and investment processes within a leading global investment group.
Responsibilities
- Meet entrepreneurs with the team weekly.
- Source and identify promising technologies and companies for team presentation.
- Attend startup events to gather information on startups, sectors, and trends.
- Conduct in-depth research on technology topics to help build industry and trend theses.
- Participate in due diligence meetings, reference calls, and product/technical due diligence.
- Perform competitive landscape research, market sizing, and business plan modeling.
- Assist with term sheet negotiations.
- Draft investment memorandums.
- Manage LP relationships through events and trend reports.
- Organize events and create content to promote the fund in the European ecosystem.
- Build and enhance internal processes.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
- At least one internship or work experience in a challenging field.
- Proven rigor and analytical skills.
- Curious and open-minded.
- Autonomous and organized.
- Fluent in French (for Paris office) and English (written and communication skills).
- Tech-savvy with an engineering, scientific, or programming background is a plus.
- Experience launching an entrepreneurial project is a plus.
