About the Role
Teya is scaling rapidly, and the UK region is central to this growth. This role supports UK commercial leaders, connecting people priorities with business outcomes to foster a culture where people do their best work and teams deliver effectively. The impact of this role will be felt in stronger leadership, more effective teams, and a commercial environment that attracts and retains top talent. This team is also one of Teya's first points of connection with our members, directly influencing their experience and growth.
Responsibilities
- Support leaders with guidance on team effectiveness, people development, and workforce planning.
- Get involved in grassroots projects to shape selling partners and build commercial capability.
- Use people data and insights to inform business decisions and identify future capability needs.
- Coach and support managers to build stronger feedback cultures, improve performance conversations, and lead with greater confidence.
- Work closely with the global People team to shape talent strategies that attract, develop, and retain strong commercial talent.
- Help identify future leaders and support development and succession conversations.
- Support the delivery of performance, compensation, and engagement cycles for the UK commercial organisation.
- Contribute to building the foundations for attracting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top commercial talent in the UK.
- Champion Teya's culture and values within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales Ops, and Reward to ensure structure, incentives, and headcount plans are aligned to business needs.
- Handle a range of ER cases with sound judgement, empathy, and a focus on fair, practical outcomes in line with UK employment law.
- Contribute to broader people initiatives and share knowledge and learnings across the People Partnering team.
Requirements
- Must have experience handling a range of ER cases, including performance, absence, disciplinaries, and grievances.
- Must have experience collaborating with Finance, Sales Ops, and Reward teams.
- Must have experience supporting the delivery of performance, compensation, and engagement cycles.
- Must have experience working closely with a global People team to shape talent strategies.
- Must have experience identifying future leaders and supporting development and succession conversations.
- Must have experience coaching and supporting managers.
- Must have experience using people data and insights to inform business decisions.
- Must have experience supporting leaders with guidance on team effectiveness, people development, and workforce planning.
- Must have experience contributing to building the foundations for attracting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top commercial talent.
- Must have experience championing company culture and values.
- Must have experience getting involved in grassroots projects with ownership.
