About the Role
We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team in Sydney. This role prioritizes backend expertise with the ability to contribute to frontend tasks, ensuring seamless client-server integration. You will apply your knowledge to build modern, responsive user interfaces and visualizations that enhance HEO Inspect, HEO’s proprietary NEI data and insights platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of new features on HEO's NEI data and insights web platform, HEO Inspect, with a focus on performance, user experience and interactivity.
- Maintenance and development of cloud-based back-end services which focus on automating our operations in Space.
- Work closely with HEO’s R&D team to productionise new algorithms that enhance our operations.
- Work closely with HEO’s product, go-to-market and analyst personnel to ensure customer requirements are met through our web application, API, and bespoke system integrations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
- 4+ years of industry experience in developing web applications on the cloud
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and comfortable with experimenting to solve new challenges
- Experience in building end-to-end applications.
- End-to-end systems development (Including persistent storage) and deployment (CI/CD)
- Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- The successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and will be required to undergo a background check.
