About the Role
RCC is seeking an after-hours Project Manager with knowledge of Networking, Data Centers, and/or Infrastructure. This is a full-time salaried role with 100% remote work. Training is provided and will take 3-6 months. We are looking for someone willing to make a long-term commitment due to the intensity of the training.
Responsibilities
- Managing projects and coordinating resources for "power events" for data centers globally.
- Overseeing all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, and utilizing various client platforms.
- Governing responsibilities and ensuring client satisfaction through proper communication and service improvements.
- Managing and performing power-ups and power-downs at multiple sites and data centers worldwide.
- Scheduling and running projects remotely.
- Coordination of Lines of Business, resources, and timelines.
- Working with the RCC project team and client IT teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Manager OR related technical management role.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Experience with technology database systems.
- MS-Excel proficiency.
- Ability to work across several time zones and with different cultures.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a part of a high energy team.
- Ability to process work quickly, accurately, and with changing priorities.
