About the Role
The Service Sales Leader owns service contract revenue for GE HealthCare across Australia and New Zealand. The role leads the Service Contracts team and directs resource deployment to meet commercial growth objectives, building competitive and profitable offerings, and strengthening customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets.
- Set the vision and commercial/operational tactics for the Service Contracts team.
- Partner to shape profitable and market-competitive service contract offerings.
- Act as the escalation point for pricing approvals on service agreements and quotes.
- Work with leaders to drive and measure promotional activities.
- Collaborate to ensure customers are presented with the best service solution.
- Lead initiatives that improve culture, quality, and velocity for customers and teams.
- Manage relationships with key customers to understand their challenges and needs.
- Ensure customer issues and inquiries are prioritized and resolved.
- Lead collaboration on customer communication, escalations, and through-life support.
- Drive a customer-first approach to resolve issues and win future install base.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate customer records in CRM tools.
- Run regular funnel reviews to pace service contract revenue and unblock issues.
- Produce reporting and presentations with clear visibility of progress against targets.
- Lead initiatives and implement tools/processes to improve customer response speed and quality.
- Coach and manage individuals to drive accountability, ownership, and progress.
- Set team objectives and allocate work through effective workforce design.
- Provide coaching, training, and development to enhance team skills.
- Own the relationship, training, and deliverables of the third-party 'Pre-Sales' admin team.
- Create and drive a culture of safety and compliance within the Service Contracts team.
- Comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, System, Policy, Goals, and applicable regulations.
- Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training.
- Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action.
- Operate within Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies.
- Operate within Environmental Health Policies.
- Ensure order and configuration quality at the point of entry for accuracy and integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement on related processes, work instructions, and procedures.
- Be responsible for 100% compliance on team EHS goals and metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or a health-related field.
- Minimum 3 years leading teams in commercial, service or marketing leadership roles.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven record of meeting revenue targets.
- Solid grasp of value drivers, strategic alignment, and financial fundamentals.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead without authority in a matrix organisation.
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia or New Zealand.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must have unrestricted working rights for Australia.
- Must be prepared to undergo a background check which includes a police check.
