About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Partnerships to establish and lead our partnership function. This role is crucial for connecting with organizations that require verifiable compute, often through indirect channels like infrastructure providers, platform vendors, and software companies. The core of this position involves cultivating these relationships and transforming initial joint deployments into repeatable architectures.
Responsibilities
- Source, structure, and close commercial and technical partnerships, managing relationships through to delivery.
- Co-sell into partner accounts and develop reference architectures from early deployments.
- Cultivate direct enterprise and public-sector relationships when a partner route is not suitable.
- Represent Lucid in standards and governance forums, including the Verifiable Compute Foundation.
- Collaborate with founders on pricing, packaging, and commercial positioning.
- Build and scale the partnership team and its required processes.
Requirements
- Substantial experience building and leading a commercial or partnership function at an infrastructure or technically complex company, with direct revenue accountability.
- Proven track record of closing agreements requiring security, procurement, or governance approval.
- Credibility with both technical and risk stakeholders, with the ability to engage effectively with both.
- Strong judgment for prioritizing opportunities and qualifying specific deployments over general accounts.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and a preference for building structure.
- Experience buying or selling compute infrastructure at scale.
- Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act.
- Experience in standards bodies, policy, or multi-stakeholder governance.
- Prior experience hiring and managing a commercial team.
