About the Role
We are building a community of finance professionals interested in future Director-level opportunities within Liberty Global's Finance organization. This talent community allows us to connect with skilled professionals for potential future roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing finance team focused on portfolio-level impact.
- Develop talent with an investment mindset to support disciplined decision-making, capital allocation, and value creation across portfolio companies.
- Drive the standardization, automation, and improvement of central financial processes.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and actionable portfolio-level reporting.
- Produce and interpret robust financial analysis, business modelling, and scenario planning.
- Support strategic initiatives, capital deployment, and exit readiness.
- Provide insights that shape portfolio strategy and maximize returns.
- Consolidate and present complex financial information to Executive leadership and Investment Committees.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights that inform investment strategy, capital allocation, and value creation plans.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions, optimize capital use, and track value creation initiatives.
Requirements
- A strong background across one of, or a combination of: Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Fintech and/or other adjacent industries.
- Good generalist experience across core finance activities such as: business partnering, capital allocation (FP&A) etc.
- A track record of managing financial budgets, actuals, business cases, modelling and project coordination.
- Experience in an International or Pan-European environment.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with a focus on value creation.
