About the Role
Essity is seeking production operators for its Cherokee/Barton Alabama manufacturing facility. This role involves operating various machinery, mobile equipment, and basic computer systems, with opportunities for learning and growth in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate many different types of machinery
- Operate lift trucks and other types of mobile equipment
- Work with basic computer systems
- Conduct basic maintenance on machinery
Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Ability to analyze data
- General mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Ability to take direction and execute
- Must pass written assessment, interview, pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check

Salary/Compensations
- Starting rate $24.14/hourly rate with an increase to $25.34/hourly rate after six months.
