About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Garage Bodily Injury Senior Claims Adjuster to adjudicate auto bodily injury claims and contribute to providing superb results for our clients. This position offers a challenging, diverse, and impactful role within a collaborative claims team.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate highly complex General Liability Bodily Injury claims with significant impact on departmental results.
Solve complex problems requiring an understanding of broader issues.
Report claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties.
Analyze claims forms, policies, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.
Manage claims in litigation.
Manage diary tasks to ensure timely and financially optimal case resolution.
Set claim reserves accurately.
Identify, assign, and coordinate expertise resources for case resolution.
Prepare reports for file documentation.
Apply creative solutions for the best financial outcome.
Negotiate settlements.
Process mail and prioritize workload.
Communicate effectively via telephone and written correspondence with insureds, claimants, and other parties.

Requirements

An advanced knowledge of Garage Bodily Injury.
An exceptional customer service focus.
A minimum of five years’ experience adjudicating general liability bodily injury casualty claims.
Good business acumen, understanding how an insurance company operates and generates profit.

Richmond Pay Range: $101,184 - $119,782
Albany and Chicago Pay Range: $111,384 - $132,498
Los Angeles Pay Range: $121,482 - $144,636
