About the Role

As a Product Champion, you will represent and manage revenue and gross profit goals for ODP Business Solutions' top partner in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to build strong connections and develop a deep understanding of specific product lines, presenting technical solutions to solve customer business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert to answer questions related to assigned vendor products, partner programs, services, and the overall environment.
  • Provide solutions to resolve client or ODP Business Solutions teammate business problems.
  • Champion products from a particular vendor, incentive programs, and activities for the sales team to maximize profitability.
  • Organize sales forecasts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales teams and the partner.
  • Deliver vendor initiatives and product promotions to the sales team.
  • Update the sales team on sales numbers and activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and purchasing to provide optimal products for client success.
  • Devise marketing campaigns to increase product awareness, sales, and profits.
  • Support customer-facing or sales enablement programs to increase partner sales and/or adoption.
  • Prepare and present complex hardware/software/services solutions to client partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and partners on opportunities and solutions for the client.
  • Manage overall Gross Profit (GP) goals.
  • Provide updated performance pipelines.
  • Answer pre-sales technical questions or assist in closing deals.
  • Provide, develop, and deliver sales training programs to clients.
  • Support partner-sponsored events and sales programs.
  • Deliver program updates to partners.
  • Support partner events such as floor days, blitz days, and focus weeks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, IT Security, Sales and Solutions.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Sales and Sales Support.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology to access information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional team dynamics.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Successful history of building and maintaining internal and external partner relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and independent thinker.
  • Highly collaborative.
