About the Role
Join a passionate team of early childhood professionals dedicated to helping children and families thrive. The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is one of Canada’s largest not-for-profit providers of licensed child care, offering a variety of programs and services across Southwestern Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centered programs for children ages 4–12
- Provide safe, quality care and support to children and families
- Maintain supervision and ensure child safety at all times
- Follow YMCA policies, municipal regulations, and CCEYA requirements
- Foster inclusive, welcoming environments where every child feels they belong
- Demonstrate YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Inclusivity
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Passionate about working in a social, child-focused environment
- Support up to six (6) Family of Schools
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Salary/Compensations
- Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE): Up to $27.00/hour (including government wage enhancements)
- Non-Member Candidates: Up to $22.00/hour (including government wage enhancements)
