About the Role

Alternative Payments is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a full product area, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and analytics, from end to end. This role involves identifying and prioritizing problems, owning the complete customer experience for launches, and writing clear product requirements.

Responsibilities

Set success and guardrail metrics before work begins and defend their selection.
Prioritize the product roadmap, descoping work that does not meet its value proposition.
Own the full customer experience for all launches, including enablement, support, pricing, and rollout.
Write PRDs and technical artifacts that are clear and actionable for engineering.
Engage in system design discussions and engineering tradeoff decisions.
Utilize AI coding tools in daily product development.
Operate within and help shape the standardized PM structure for discovery, prioritization, and documentation.

Requirements

7+ years of product management experience with a proven ability to generate problem sets from ambiguity.
Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills, including identifying the most critical constraints.
Sophistication in fintech, payments, or another complex domain.
Ability to create persuasive written narratives and PRDs for stakeholders and engineering.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes across team boundaries.
Decisiveness in making calls based on incomplete information and stating conditions for reversal.
Coachability, with a willingness to change positions based on evidence.
Ability to quickly gain working expertise in unfamiliar domains.
