Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned audits.
  • Gather and analyze data, reporting audit results according to IIA standards.
  • Interview client staff to gather necessary information for assignments.
  • Communicate audit status and critical findings to the Manager.
  • Create organized work papers detailing procedures, methods, and results.
  • Support the internal audit group's efficient operation to complete assignments.
  • Submit recommendations for audit step adjustments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all work papers and audit information.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public meetings, and/or boards of directors.
  • High degree of problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative approaches, models, and systems.
  • A passion for providing superior customer satisfaction.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude to learn Firm technology, current and future.
  • Work experience in banking or credit union industry.
  • In process of or planning to obtain CIA, CFE, CPA designations desirable.
  • Ability and interest in reading, analyzing and interpreting common technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
