About the Role
Zimmer Biomet is a leading international medical technology company with over 18,000 employees worldwide, providing musculoskeletal health solutions to over 100 countries. Our Berlin Zehlendorf site specializes in producing semi-finished products, particularly metal joint replacements for hips, knees, and shoulders, using forming processes.
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing of forged products according to specifications, including documentation.
- Operating and setting up forming machines and spray robots.
- Continuously monitoring forged engravings for wear during the forging process.
- Setting up machines.
- Checking parts for dimensional accuracy and correcting setting data in case of deviations.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in metal processing (e.g., process technologist, process mechanic, metalworker, or blacksmith) is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge in metal processing.
- Initial experience in forming technology is desirable.
- Good German language skills (B2).
- Structured and precise work approach.
- Willingness to work shifts.
