About the Role
As the Innovation and Transformation Director, you will lead the creation and operationalization of a strategic innovation and transformation program within a major infrastructure program business and a client-side environment. You will influence outcomes and collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and navigate competing priorities to drive alignment, manage risk and budget, and support the team in delivering the client's program. You will identify business contexts, emerging risks and opportunities, and design appropriate action plans.
Responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting, and effective relationships across a range of stakeholders and achieve alignment on strategy and execution plans.
- Lead the transformation and innovation generational change agenda for an enterprise program.
- Develop transformation and efficiency initiatives and plans aligned with agreed outcome objectives through a robust discovery phase, including diagnostics and maturity assessments.
- Explore client's perceptions of change needs, options, and priorities.
- Expand KBR's initial offering into a comprehensive strategy, change plan, and execution pathway, sensitive to the business's change capability and capacity.
- Lead the design of pilot programs and robust stress and success tests.
- Critically evaluate pilots and refine strategy and execution plans accordingly.
- Underpin approaches with an international best-in-class mindset, LEAN thinking, and benefits realization.
- Lead the roll-out of programs and transition into BAU, including measurement of benefits to demonstrate KBR's commitments with certainty, confidence, and transparency.
- Be accountable for the outputs of specialist capability, mapping out a course for the engagement of specialist subconsultants and international subject matter experts, ensuring their iterative contributions represent value for money.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise change, innovation, and transformation programs.
- Track record of strategic leadership, anticipating needs and opportunities, proactively crafting appropriate responses, and implementing data-based decision making.
- Strong communication and reporting skills with experience working across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in reporting.
