About the Role
We are recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Morning Cleaner to provide short-term cover at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Peckham. This is a one-week cover position, working 3 hours each morning from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning throughout the site
- Cleaning offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Replenishing consumables where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
Requirements
- BPSS clearance required
- Valid Right to Work documentation
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with lone working
- Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
- Must be available for the full cover period from 4th–11th September
- Required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out
