About the Role
Gigs is expanding into new markets and needs a Technical Project Manager to own the integration of Mobile Network Operators. This role involves managing the technical build, commercial alignment, and regulatory compliance for each carrier integration, acting as the central point of contact and driving the process from contract signing to live traffic.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate integration programs, managing timelines, status trackers, risk logs, and launch checklists.
- Set the pace for the integration squad, holding internal teams and carriers accountable to the plan.
- Own end-to-end delivery, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks, and driving resolution across teams.
- Partner with Engineering as a technical peer, understanding API contracts, eSIM/interconnect flows, and network configuration.
- Translate carrier technical specifications and API documentation into actionable build plans.
- Run technical alignment sessions, focusing on spotting and resolving risks before they become blockers.
- Act as the connective tissue between Gigs, carriers, and third-party vendors, escalating issues appropriately.
- Contribute to building the integration playbook, shaping tools, templates, and processes for carrier integrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a technical program/project management, technical delivery, or solutions/partner engineering role at a technology company.
- Hands-on experience running API-based integrations.
- Comfortable reading API documentation and technical specs directly.
- Ability to hold substantive technical conversations with engineers about architecture and tradeoffs.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous, multi-stakeholder builds end-to-end, including external partners.
- Sharp, structured communication skills to drive alignment across Engineering, Product, and external stakeholders.
- A bias to unblock: spotting risk early and driving it to resolution.
- Enthusiasm for building a new function from scratch and defining its processes.
