About the Role

We are recruiting a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to provide short-term cover at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Peckham. This position involves working 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for a total of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

General cleaning throughout the site
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning offices and communal areas
Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
Emptying bins and disposing of waste
Replenishing consumables where required
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site

Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening
BPSS clearance required
Valid Right to Work documentation
Comfortable lone working
Comfortable being a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
Reliable and punctual
Must be available for the full cover period
Candidates will be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out
