About the Role

We are seeking a highly practical Business Development and Top Sales professional to drive the implementation and commercialization of our innovative flying car (eVTOL) in the Japanese market. This role is not just about strategy; it's about actively approaching top-tier clients, logically uncovering their needs, and securing aircraft contracts for our 2028 implementation through persistent effort. You will collaborate closely with management and the technical team to pioneer an unprecedented market with your sales expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate hypotheses for new customer and market acquisition leading to aircraft sales and commercialization.
  • Drive new business development targeting municipalities, infrastructure companies, major corporations, and local influential businesses.
  • Independently manage the entire sales process from approaching decision-makers to building relationships and creating business opportunities.
  • Maximize promising leads by iteratively verifying and refining hypotheses.
  • Conceptualize and develop unique use cases tailored to regional and corporate characteristics, going beyond simple aircraft sales.
  • Analyze customer business environments and potential challenges, considering the future widespread adoption of flying cars.
  • Quantify the added value and ROI generated by implementing our solutions, based on data and logical hypotheses.
  • Propose initiatives that clearly articulate the 'significance of acting now' for the customer.
  • Overcome customer concerns arising from the novelty and uncertainty of our offerings.
  • Lead negotiations and drive deals to successful contract closures (aircraft sales, service implementation) through persistent effort and problem-solving.
  • Manage project progress, handle contract administration, and coordinate with legal and technical teams.
  • Provide rapid feedback from frontline customers to the development team to drive product-market fit (PMF).
  • Support fundraising efforts by presenting business plans, pitching to potential partners, and assisting with investment negotiations for large-scale projects and business expansion.

Requirements

  • Achieved top-tier performance (e.g., within the top 10%) in corporate sales, demonstrating a track record of meeting high targets.
  • Experience in meticulously managing KPIs and activity metrics such as visit frequency, key contact rates, and conversion rates, achieving results based on logic rather than intuition.
  • Proven experience in securing deals for products with high adoption barriers (e.g., price, lack of precedent, internal complexity) by controlling the customer's internal decision-making process (approval flows, key person engagement).
