About the Role
As a Junior EPIC-Consultant, you will focus on implementing digitalization in healthcare. You will learn to understand clinical and administrative processes and build functional EPIC workflows, with the goal of becoming a certified EPIC Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Learn to understand clinical and administrative processes and derive consistent EPIC workflows.
- Support the design, configuration, and documentation of EPIC workflows.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into implementable EPIC solutions with experienced consultants.
- Assist with testing, training, go-live, and hypercare to ensure workflows function in daily clinical practice.
- Collaborate closely with business units, users, and technical teams, gradually taking on more responsibility.
Requirements
- A foundational understanding of hospitals or healthcare, gained through studies, training, internships, working student roles, or initial professional experience.
- Ideally, initial experience with EPIC, a KIS or HIS (Hospital Information System), or an EHR or EMR system (EPIC experience is not a prerequisite).
- Interest in clinical processes and a desire to understand how digital systems and EPIC workflows support daily hospital operations.
- Structured, meticulous, and reliable work approach, with a proactive attitude towards learning new topics and presenting complex information clearly.
- Strong communication skills with various stakeholders, excellent German language proficiency, good English language skills, and willingness to travel internationally for EPIC onboarding and system implementations.
