About the Role
Support and facilitate the delivery of Gordon Brothers’ deals through effective business data analysis, providing timely and accurate information in clear, usable reports for informed business decisions, performance tracking, and client asset valuation reports.
Responsibilities
- Interrogate business data to support all business units.
- Prepare core financial models for new business and ad-hoc reports.
- Write reports providing background details for due diligence and build a case for bids.
- Support team members with due diligence/audit of client financials, systems, and processes.
- Undertake research on prospective clients.
- Manage own projects and make confident modeling decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Support the learning and development of Associates and review their work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in mathematics, finance, accounting or related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Professional qualification or part qualified (CIMA, CFA or equivalent).
- Willing to travel periodically.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to confidently present own work.
- Self-motivated with the ability and willingness to manage multiple projects with close attention to detail.
- Strong drive for results, bias for action with superior analytical and time management skills.
- European languages (preferably German and/or Spanish) not essential but would be a plus.
