About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious club environment as a Bartender, offering a competitive salary and a service-focused role in a professional and welcoming setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional bar/liquor service ensuring standards of service and hospitality are consistently delivered.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of licensing laws and ensure these are upheld.
- Ensure the bar and Terrace area are continuously checked and presented to a high standard, reporting maintenance issues.
- Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures each shift.
- Deliver service required at the summer tournament and other Club events as directed by management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Club events and actively promote Member activities.
- Promptly resolve Member or guest complaints, advising management of all issues raised and action taken.
- Ensure correct use of the EPOS system and adherence to financial standards during transactions, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure security procedures are followed to prevent theft or loss of equipment, food, and drink.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service.
- Previous experience in restaurant waiting roles.
- Previous bartending experience in an upscale environment.
- Make suggestions and recommend improvements to management.
- Help control costs wherever possible.
- Undertake projects and complete objectives as required by management.
- Assist colleagues at all times and across the Club when possible and requested by management.
- Attend internal meetings as required.
- Conduct all aspects of work and behaviour in line with the values of The Queen’s Club.
