About the Role
You will work in the Grow & Engage domain, delivering innovative features that serve customers from initial signup to daily engagement. As a Senior Backend Engineer with a product-centric mindset, you will partner closely with Product Owner, Tech Lead, and Designers to translate user needs into seamless, scalable backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software.
- Manage individual project priorities and deliverables.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.
- Propose new product ideas, build tech tools, or try new architectural approaches during Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD).
Requirements
- Experience developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
- In-depth understanding of microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of both relational (preferably Postgres) and non-relational databases.
- Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
- Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.
