About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking Hospital Cleaning Supervisors on a Bank basis to join their Environmental Services team. This role supports the leadership and management of Environmental Services Operations, acting as a technical resource for shift teams.

Responsibilities

Guide the team and ensure department compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support recruiting and monitoring the team to retain and attract talent.
Ensure timely communication with teams for smooth operational procedures.
Maintain regular communication with all departments and stakeholders.
Arrange and deliver training to ensure compliance to the highest standards.
Implement, monitor, and improve Health and Safety, high standards, and patient care.
Lead with a patient-first approach and seek opportunities to improve patient satisfaction.
Continuously inspect and audit assigned areas for quality cleaning and maintenance.
Maintain staffing levels by managing the rota and ensuring cross-coverage.
Liaise with and manage third-party suppliers (e.g., maintenance, pest control, laundry).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience as a work leader, team leader, or supervisor in a related field.
Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong technological skills for job duties and system monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Role may be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
