About the Role
You will collaborate with customers, engineering, design, go-to-market teams, and leadership to identify key problems, determine AI's impact on workflows, translate product strategy into solutions, and continuously improve them. You will report to the Head of Product. This role requires adaptability to an early-stage company's product process and comfort with strategy definition, customer research, data analysis, specification writing, prototyping, and shipping features.
Responsibilities
- Help define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Build clear product rationale and communicate prioritization decisions.
- Adapt to changing priorities and help the team progress without over-engineering plans.
- Apply stage-appropriate product judgment for directional evidence, lightweight builds, and scalable investments.
- Determine where AI can genuinely improve customer work.
- Explore AI system interactions with users across various functions.
- Research emerging AI technologies and determine their relevance to the product.
- Prototype potential AI-powered solutions with engineering.
- Translate product strategy and customer problems into shippable product components.
- Break ambiguous initiatives into incremental releases for customer value and learning.
- Independently complete straightforward product, design, analytical, prototyping, or technical work as needed.
Requirements
- Approximately 4+ years of product management experience.
- Experience building B2B software products.
- Strong experience designing products for non-developer business users, particularly those performing complex business or operational workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining priorities, tradeoffs, and strategy to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working with data and using quantitative analysis alongside qualitative research.
- Curiosity about AI and the ability to independently learn about evolving AI technologies and translate them into product opportunities.
