About the Role
The Missing Link is seeking experienced Network Systems Infrastructure Solution Designers for upcoming contract opportunities with enterprise and government clients. This role involves designing secure, scalable, and modern network solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust networking and security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams.
- Undertake enterprise network transformation initiatives.
- Design cloud networking and connectivity.
- Modernize data centres and infrastructure.
- Implement network security enhancements and segmentation projects.
- Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Manage technology refresh and migration programs.
- Conduct architecture reviews and technical design governance.
Requirements
- Experience in enterprise network design and solution architecture.
- Experience with routing, switching, and network security technologies.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud networking.
- Experience with firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with Zero Trust and modern network security frameworks.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical design and implementation documentation.
- Experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- A collaborative, outcome-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
